Panic Attack Symptoms
There are various indicators of
panic attack symptoms. Some people may experience
all or some of these symptoms or some may only have a few
to help diagnose them with this problematic panic
disorder.
The patients that are dealing with feelings of being afraid
of having sudden fear with no warning may be going through a
panic attack.
A panic disorder is when a person has an increasing
number of panic attacks. These are characterized by an
unexpected pattern of episodes that create fear and other
symptoms.
Some generally accepted medical panic attack symptoms
are:
• chest pain
• heart palpitations
• rapid heart beat
• pounding heart
• shortness of breath
• smothering sensation
• dizziness
• feeling light headed
• nausea or bloating
• discomfort like indigestion or bloating
• pain in the stomach and abdominal areas
If you experienced four or less of these panic attack
symptoms then this is called a limited symptom attack.
Some people may feel their heart pounding and they may get
sweaty all over the body. Others may feel weak or dizzy.
Some may even faint when they are going through a panic
disorder. Hands and feet may sometimes also be numb or
tingly. The fear of losing control may
be in the back of some people's minds while they experience
panic attack symptoms.
Having to deal with this type of disorder is not going to be
easy and in fact, it can make it hard for a person to function
at all. Seeking the right advice is important to resolving the
symptoms of panic attack.
An anxiety disorder diagnosis is accurate nowadays so if you
meet most of the symptoms listed above then it is likely that
you are experiencing an anxiety disorder.
